Child & Family Services

Support services offered at the Community Health and Wellness Center (CHWC) and at the Lionel R. John Health Center (LRJHC)

Mission Statement

The mission of the Child and Family Services Program is to strengthen family units within the Seneca communities by being sensitive to the traditions and beliefs of the Seneca people.

Services offered are community-based and support the caregiver and their family. Support depends on the needs and strengths of the individual family and their goals. • Continue recruitment for foster and respite parents
  • Foster parent classes provided for individuals to make a decision to foster & to help become licensed
  • Offer co-parenting classes & a variety of parenting education classes, open to anyone
